What is the difference between Restoration Powder™ and Glass Rescue™?

Glass Rescue™ and Restoration Powder™ are water stain removers for glass – both designed to remove stains on glass or silica-based surfaces caused by hard water, soap scum, mineral deposits, and more. However, Restoration Powder™ is a less concentrated solution and comes in the form of a powder, while Glass Rescue™ is super concentrated meant to remove pre-existing coatings and comes as a paste.

Does Glass Rescue™ leave any residue?

No; however, DFI recommends thoroughly rinsing and drying the glass for optimum performance.

Can Glass Rescue™ be used to remove scratches on glass?

No, while Glass Rescue™ is great for removing hard water stains, it cannot remove scratches on surfaces.

What if the glass is very badly damaged?

Glass Rescue™ is designed to remove most stains; however, there are instances where the glass surface might be damaged beyond repair, mostly caused by severe etching over the years. However, if stains persist, use more pressure to try and remove them.
